Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Money Manager web application and WhatsApp integration (the "Service") operated by Ritvik Dayal ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Money Manager is a free personal finance management application that allows you to:

  • Track income and expenses
  • Create and monitor budgets
  • Set savings goals
  • Track net worth, assets, and loans
  • Import bank statements
  • Receive AI-powered financial insights
  • Manage finances via WhatsApp
  • Receive proactive financial notifications

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
  • Abuse the AI chat or WhatsApp integration (e.g., excessive automated requests)
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service

5. Financial Data Disclaimer

Money Manager is a tracking and organisational tool, not a financial advisor.

  • The Service does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • AI-generated insights and affordability assessments are informational only and should not be the sole basis for financial decisions.
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter.
  • We do not connect to your bank accounts directly — all data is manually entered or imported from statement files you upload.

6. WhatsApp Integration

If you choose to link your WhatsApp number:

  • You consent to receive messages from our WhatsApp bot in response to your messages.
  • If you enable notifications, you consent to receiving proactive messages (budget alerts, goal reminders, weekly digests).
  • You can opt out of notifications at any time from Settings or by sending "stop" to the bot.
  • Standard WhatsApp messaging rates from your carrier may apply.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is the property of Ritvik Dayal and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Supabase (database and auth), OpenAI (AI processing), Meta/WhatsApp (messaging), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Service Availability

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses arising from your use of the Service.

In particular, we are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on data or insights provided by the Service.

11. Account Termination & Data Deletion

  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, all personally identifiable information is permanently removed. Financial records are anonymised (names and descriptions stripped; amounts and dates retained in de-identified form).
  • If you prefer complete deletion of all data including anonymised records, you may request a full purge by contacting us at privacy@gleomento.com.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abuse.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
